It’s currently undergoing internal testing with RIM’s Software Verification team.

The Colt is said to be undergoing internal testing with a single-core chip and promises of including dual-core CPUs. Like the PlayBook, the Colt is not expected to include BlackBerry Enterprise Server at launch. BES, which powers the email, contact and calendar synchronization on BlackBerry OS, is proving more difficult to rewrite for QNX than expected. That is why the PlayBook lacked native email at launch. If this is true, it will negate one of the major reasons why people still purchase the BlackBerry.

Well, we don’t know how soon it’s going to be introduced, but the next Curve is most likely the BlackBerry Curve 9360, unveiled yesterday by UK-based website OneMobileRing. Previously seen in a leaked Bell roadmap, the 9360 should feature a 2.4 inch HVGA non-touch display, BlackBerry OS 7, HSPA, 5 MP Camera, 512 MB RAM & ROM, QUAD Band GSM & Dual Band CDMA, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, and an 800MHz Marvell PXA940 Processor.

You can see the Curve 9360 below, compared to the old Curve 9300 in the first two photos, and the Bold Touch 9900 in the third one.
