The debate surrounding Apple’s next generation iPhone design continues. While countless sources have claimed that Apple’s iPhone 5 will be an incremental upgrade akin to the iPhone 3G to iPhone 3GS bump, rumors continue to mount suggesting otherwise. The latest, which comes by way of DigiTimes, claims that Apple has purchased 200-300 glass cutting machines to be used by glass makers to build curved front panels for its fifth iPhone due later this year. Also it said that according to Samsungs research that curved glass more comfortable rather than flat one.

While it is certainly possible that Apple’s next iPhone will implement a number of design changes including a new curved front panel, many believe the next iPhone will be a modest upgrade — which may have already been pictured in an exclusive BGR report — that features a faster processor, better cameras, up to 64GB of internal storage, new radios compatible with additional carriers such as T-Mobile USA and Sprint, and a few other internal tweaks. Unfortunately is could be a while before we know for sure, as rumors suggest Apple may focus on software at this year’s WWDC keynote and wait until its annual September event to unveil the next iPhone despite of rumor said that production will be going on July.

iPhone 4 white from Apple will not available on this year. Bad news for customers isn’t? After a missed availability date in July and another delays after that, the white version delays again until on spring 2011. Hold your breath if you really want this white version, but the black version and iTunes will treat your disappointed. Keep holding your hope, we sure the CDMA version that’ll never come.

Apple iPhone 4 get to jailbroke. A few past day, George Hotz is the person who claim to have jailbroken iPhone 4, but also said he may not release the procedure, then decided to quit doing stuff like this. Hmm that’s a pity news.

Nowadays Cydia running on an iPhone, this is the alternative app market that only available after jailbreaking. The iPhone 4 also unlocked, it means you can run it on any (GSM) network you please, regardless of which network it used to ‘belong’ to. But, still no guide to follow in order to get your precious phone unlocked and jailbroken.

Apple at last unveiled iPhone 4 after several weeks of the leaks. The appearance is still pretty much the same with glass front and back, but on the inside is changing a lots.

iPhone 4 release date is set on June 24th for the US, France, Germany, Japan, and the UK. Other region will get it on July. iPhone 4 comes on black or white. The iPhone price is tagged at $199 for a 16GB version and $299 for 32GB iPhone 4. The iPhone 3G is no longer sold, and the iPhone 3GS price is dropped to $99.

Steve Jobs has just announced the iPhone OS 4.0 today. The new OS offers lots of new features and improvements. But the most notably is the multitasking support for the iPhone. The iPhone OS 4.0 will be in this summer. And it seems the first generation iPhone won’t be compatible with the OS 4.0.

And for those who already get iPad, iPhone OS 4.0 will available on this fall. You can check the current active task by double click the home button. Here’s some major features on iPhone OS 4.0:

Spell check (same as on the iPad).
Supports Bluetooth keyboard (as on iPad).
Able to set wallpaper.
5x digital zoom for the camera and tap to focus when recording video.

App folders for sort your apps.
Mail enhancement. You can got merged inbox view, threaded messaging and in-app attachment viewing. Switching between inboxes quickly is also possible along with sync to multiple Exchange account.
iBooks, smaller version of iPad’s iBooks. You can sync between device like Kindle does.
Enterprise features, including remote device management and wireless app distribution.
Game Center. It’s iPhone’s XBox live version. There’s leaderboards, achievements, and match making. Currently it’s still only available for developer for preview, user will got it on the end of this year.

Together with the new iPhone 3G S launches, Apple also revealed their another weapon to dominate the smartphone market, a damn cheap iPhone! While iPhone 3G S offers more speed and storage, this new promotion offers the iPhone 3G with $99 price!

This make a cut off $100 from the current iPhone models. More importantly, the new iPhone cheap price also undermine the Palm Pre’s. This will be a huge blow for Palm Pre. Even though Palm Pre sold more than 50,000 on this weekend, that cannot beat Apple’s iPhone which sold 146,000 on its first week sale. Anyway, $99 is a very nice amount for a device that has access to the App Store’s with over 50,000 apps.

Apple Announces The iPhone 3G S!

The iPhone 3G S has just announced by Apple with some great updates. Compared to the its predecessor, The iPhone 3G, the new phone has a faster CPU, HSDPA support, larger storage options and a better camera. What makes it better is all for the same price as the current set.

With the 50% jump in CPU speed (up to 600MHZ) and the doubled of system memory into 256MB, the OS will surely run faster. The camera also has some upgrade, even though it’s not as much as the other aspect. At least now iPhone 3G S has auto focus camera on a 3MP camera. iPhone 3G S also support auto lighting and auto focus when shoot video at 30FPS.

iPhone 3G S will available on black and white models with the option of 16GB or 32GB. The options will be available for $199/$299 respectively on July. The battery also got some improvement, Apple said now it will be 15-20% longer than the current one.

Although many upgrade done in the hardware, Apple didn’t forget the software. Some new features is now available. Now you can tether the iPhone via Bluetooth or USB into PC or Mac on 22 carriers.

The iPhone 3G S release date will be on June 19, 2009 in the United States while the rest of the world will getting it on July 9, 2009. But starting today iPhone 3G already gets its $99 price
