Even though Opera Mini is not yet submitted on the App Store, but the Norwegian companies sure that there’s no issues that can make the Opera Mini got rejected. The other advantages of the compression is your bandwith usage will be reduced by 90% at the fullest. Hopefully Apple won’t include their own ego and reject this awesome apps. Final Fantasy I and II Come to App Store Soon

The iPhone weapons platform is gradually going to second home for a host of classic games. We have already described about the iPhone versions of titles like Monkey Island, Herb Simon The Sorcerer, Earthworm Jim and Broken Sword and it looks that some other notable series is about to come alive on your iPhone display, this time the turn-based RPG with almost spiritual fame – Final Fantasy. The console version of the game already has a lot of sequels and enlargements, the game universe is sincerely rich and popular and there are even full-length movies based on it. This is why we’re so built up about the chance to play Final Fantasy on the iPhone.

The selective information and fact about both parts is still unelaborated at the best. The official internet site of Square Enix (creators of the game series) tells the title will become usable at the AppStore soon, though no special release date or price have been remarked. As you may discover for yourself in the leaked pictures, both instalments will have rather antiquated graphics and art, but what we recognise from experience is that the story is thick and truly fascinating. Still, we would not mind if Square Enix chooses to come up with a an iPhone version that visually resembles the latest instalments to the series formulated for PC and Xbox.

LG Cellphone Application Store Launched!

Today, LG cellphone application store is published. Now, LG customers can find new application for their cellular phones. Currently, there are 1400 apps ready to download, 119 of them are free.

Don’t get too excited though, the LG application store still available only in Australia and Singapore. But by the end of the 2009, it’s planned to launched in 22 countries with 14 languages. The applications is also predicted to reach 2000 at that time.

The LG store only provides application for GM730 and KS20, at the moment. But the company promises to let more handsets able to download the apps in the next month. If you live on Australia or Singapore and have the two handsets above, well you’re lucky! Check out the store now. For the rest of you, be patient and wait until the LG application store add more option

Palm Pre Playstation Emulator (psx4pre)

Palm Pre Playstation Emulator (psx4pre) is giving a new reason to keep up your Palm Pre. ZodTTD, purveyor of iPhone emulators galore, says that Pre’s hardware runs the emulator way better than the iPhone 3GS.

Here is a few experience that quoted from ZodTTD:

* There is no sound output (but it’s emulated), as Pulse Audio is required for the Palm Pre, and I have yet to support it. It will come soon.

* I have not figured out hardware rotation or scaling, or whether it is possible. Until then I am using the raw framebuffer device and blitting 320×240 software scaled.

* I figured out how to read the keypad device on the Palm Pre, though there are times it fails to give a keyup event, making keys “stick”. This is annoying and I’m looking for a workaround.

* As things progress I will have fullscreen landscape working as well.

iPhone 3.0 Software Released on June 17!

iPhone 3.0 Software will be available on June 17. Iphone user can get it for free while iPod Touch can get it for $9.95. Some cool application will be add into iPhone 3.0’s SDK. These include Iceberg Reader (for downloading text books and magazines, in addition to regular books), Asphalt 5 (a racing game), and TomTom (for turn-by-turn GPS).

The iPhone 3.0 sofware is released together with the brand new iPhone 3G S.

Facebook for BlackBerry v1.6 Launched!

Facebook just has a minor update for their Blackberry App. This will be a good news for those who cannot live without updating the status (yeah, maybe that including me). In this update, Facebook for Blackberry1.6 will support three new languages, which is Thai, Indonesian and European Portuguese. This is not surprising, since some countries, especiallly Indonesia, has quite number of Facebook users now.

The other new stuff on Facebook for Blackberry1.6 are like below:

Status updates and highlights on the home page – you can now view your friends’ most recent status updates right on the home page. Highlights like photo uploads and wall posts are just a click away and you can comment on a photo, poke a friend, etc. right from the home page.
Wall access from within Facebook for BlackBerry – with one click on your friend’s profile picture from the home page, you can access their wall without having to go to the mobile site.
Photo viewing in a simple, easy-to-use slideshow format – check out your friends’ latest photo albums with improved photo viewing, and view albums in a simple and easy-to-use slideshow format. Just scroll back and forth through the thumbnails along the bottom to display the larger picture in the center of the screen.

Gensoid the Genesis Emulator for Android has launched, just a little bit while after Nesoid NES Emulator for Android announced last week. The application is come from the same developer. While Nesoid cost you $1.99, Gensoid price is a slightly higher, $2.99. You can buy either one of them or both for just five bucks.

Gensoid features is nearly the same with Nesoid, slick interface and the plays is similar. The drawback also the same, sometimes you must turn off the sound to improves framerate, especially on heavy game. The quality of sound and the music is also so-so. The Gensoid controls is also customizable, so you can choose which setting fit you better. Each game ROM has its own save state, so you can save your proggress anytime. Even with a little spare time, you can increase your game proggress, cool isn’t it?
