Nokia N9 MeeGo On Its Way To Mexico

After the dissappointing news that the Nokia N9 will not available in US, UK, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, now the Nokia N9 appear on Nokia Mexico website. This series will available in Red and Black version, but no information about the price. This MeeGo phone will feature a 3.9-inch full touchscreen front-face covered with Gorilla Glass, pillow-shaped chassis, promising new swipe interface, and premium Carl Zeiss optics for its 8-megapixel camera.

However, Nokia will be basing its first Windows Phone 7 Mango handset on the N9 with near identical styling. And since Nokia is committed to promoting Windows Phone 7, distribution for the N9 would understandably be limited, especially in the major markets where Nokia hopes to make a big splash with its first Windows Phone, codenamed the “Sea Ray”

Here is the photo of a new Nokia smartphone, and its called N8-01 (though, considering Nokia’s new naming policy the Nokia 801 seems more likely)

Courtesy of the Greeks from Technoblog, the image come from this Nokia 700 hands-on video. While testing the Belle-running 700 video player, the review runs a video, which features the unannounced smartphone with an edge-to-edge curved screen.

Nokia 801 is Symbian phone with feature a qHD screen, if the N8 successor guesses are true, should pack one hell of a camera. Stay tuned, and we’ll see the further information.

Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition With Gold Plating And 1GHz Processor

Nokia announced the new C3-01 Gold edition, this device based on the original C3-01 Touch and Type with the luxurious 18-carat gold plating and upgraded 1 GHz processor. The C3-01 Gold feature a quadband GSM radio, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera and a microSD card slot.

This phone is the Series 40-based and since it’s a made in Finland, it’s got Nokia Messaging for email and IM, Nokia Communities for Facebook and Twitter, the new Nokia S40 browser and the Ovi Store, obvi. This handset has retained its previous measures – 111 x 47.5 x 11mm and weighs the same 100g as the original C3-01.This ultimate feature phone is available primarily in Eastern Europe and the Middle East for a price of €220 ($320)

Nokia 800 and Acer M310 Spotted With Windows Phone

There is no secret when Acer and Nokia are busily preparing Windows Phone, but Sea Ray and W4 may not be the manufacturers’ only projects. Elbert Perez, a Windows Phone game developer with a keen eye for statistics, was looking through a list of the various devices that run his games, and a couple gems stood out — the Nokia 800 and Acer M310. These name became realize when we see the list. Unfortunately we still have some question, are these completely new phones, or just the Sea Ray and W4 with new names? We will know soon. Stay tuned.

Nokia 500 With Symbian Anna And 1 GHz Processor Destined On Quarter 3

Nokia 500 has officially announced from we first heard about this phone on last June. This smartphone runs a new Symbian Anna and features a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 640 x 360, penta-band HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Nokia Maps with free drive and walk navigation, 5MP camera with video recording, and 1GHz processor. The battery inside the Nokia 500 should be able to provide a talk-time of up to 5-7 hours, or a stand-by time of up to 450 hours.

This affordable phone will cost only €150 ($215) before taxes and subsidies. The new handset will be available in black (later this quarter), and white (in Quarter 4).

Nokia N9 Will Headed On Orange Switzerland At September 15th?

Release date info for Nokia’s sweet slab of Meego has been scarce, but now Orange Switzerland’s webpage (as screenshot seen) announces that the N9 is coming by September 15th. Last month Swedish carrier 3 Group, promised it would arrive there by September 23rd, while some retailer in Kazakhstan is apparently listing them for sale August 19th.

Well then we still have to wait about this Nokia’s Meego platform especially for asian market, but as soon as we have info we’ll post imedietly, so keep an eye on this blog.
