Lenovo LePhone is on path for its release in China in spite of the ongoing argumentation between Google and China. The LePhone is just Lenovo’s 2nd attempt at an Android cell phone but its specifications echo those of the Nexus One.
The Lenovo LePhone is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon central processing unit and sports a 3.7″ AMOLED capacitive touch screen with WVGA resolution. Wireless fidelity and Global Positioning System (GPS) are on board too, but the camera is only a 3MP one. The cell phone is rather slim at 12mm.
Yet, the LePhone is worrying in some other path – it is acquired a one-off detachable QWERTY keyboard. The cell phone and keyboard combo almost become the device into a suitable MID. The Lenovo LePhone runs a modified variant of Android 2.1 – it takes the main menu innovation cues from the iPhone, when proposing card-like multitasking like Palm’s WebOS. But you understand, impersonation is the sincerest form of flattery, as they say.
