
Finally, Nokia C2-01 (left) and Nokia X2-01 are officially announced. Nokia C2-01 is featuring a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, and with up to 16GB extended memory in a 2-inch screen. They also claimed that Nokia C2-01 is the cheapest 3G cellular phone in the Espoo’s lineup. The C2-01 release date is set at the first quarter of 2011 with €70 ($95) price tag.
On the other hand, Nokia X2-01 seems like a Symbian device on the first glance. However, just like C2-01, Nokia X2-01 also using Series 40. Nokia X2-01 got a full QWERTY portrait keyboard, 2.4-inch QVGA display, a dedicated music button, VGA camera on back, with memory expansion up to 8GB. The X2-01 doesn’t have either WiFi or 3G and got the price set at €80 ($109) subsidy-free. It will be available at this quarter.
