The first Nokia C series unveiled, they called Nokia C5. The C5 is a smartphone packed into a feature phone body, boasting a bright 2.2-inch display and a 3.2-megapixel camera and a host of messaging and social networking features built in.It also integrated with GPS receiver and drive navigation courtesy of OVI Maps 3.0. Other feature is 3.5 mm audio jack and stereo speakers, a 2GB microSD card in the box (cards up to 16GB are supported) and stereo FM radio.
The waistline is 12.3 mm and the weight is 89 gram. The battery is good for 26 days of standby 12 hours of talktime. The screen is 2.2″ with QVGA resolution. This phone is being to people who still prefer a regular phone, so there’s no touchscreen and no QWERTY.
The Nokia C5 has new feature in its phone book. You can see status update of your friends directly from Facebook. You can also update your Facebook status easily and share your location with Ovi Maps 3.0. Your three favourite friend will appear in homescreen for easy access to calling and messaging. You can keep in touch with your friend on IM using Google Talk or Windows Live Messenger.
Nokia C5 available in white and warm grey colour. They will be available in the second quarter of 2010 globally in Europe, Eurasia, SEAP, China and MEA. The price is about €135, nice price for this smartphone.
