Nokia N97 will be shipping out this month. The mobile computer (they called it so) will be distributed to more than 75 countries, that will likely include Europe and North America. Nokia N97 will be the first device that’s preloaded with Ovi Store.
Nokia has high expectation on N97 as Jonas Geust, Nokia’s vice presiden, said that this device has to sell hard to call it a success. “This should not be a niche product,” Geust said in a Bloomberg interview. “Clearly our ambition is to have a similar success to the N95 family.” For your info, the N95 has sold more than 10 million units as of the end of Q1 2009.
Well, let’s see if this brand new mobile computer can be called a success..
