Samsung AMOLED Beam who teasing by Samsung at MWC in February has made for South Korea. The phone (SPH-W9600) spec was made with slightly different from Haptic Beam (SPH-W7900) and will available via KT.
The phone integrates a pico projector that can project content from the phone to a size of up to 50-inches at WVGA (800×480) resolution. Samsung says AMOLED Beam’s contrast and brightness has been improved by 2.5 and 1.5 times respectively as compared to Haptic Beam.
This device has a 3.3-inch WVGA AMOLED display, 5MP camera, T-DMB, Bluetooth, up to 16GB external memory support, DivX playback, Office files support and more. This phone will sell for 900,000 won ($806).
