
The Samsung Epic 4G has just gone official. Well, the name sure pretty weird, but wait it up until you see the Epic 4G specs. Being a part of Samsung Galaxy S family, the Samsung Epic 4G is the second 4G WiMAX smartphone from Sprint. As epic as its name, Samsung Epic 4G gives you a 4? WVGA Super AMOLED display, 5 megapixel camera on the back and front camera for the video call, 720p video capture, sliding QWERTY keypad, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 512MB RAM / 1GB ROM, six-axis motion sensor and up to 5 devices mobile hotspot support.
Samsung Epic 4G will using Android 2.1 OS combined with Samsung’s TouchWiz 3.0. The good news is, Sprint told us that there will be an update for Android 2.2 in the near future. The new handset will be released later this year, no information yet about the Samsung Epic 4G price,
