The Samsung S5260 Star II will launch this February

Samsung S5260 Star II is the successor after they bragged with the first Star model sold in more than 30 million units world wide. The 3 inch screen provides a 240 x 400 pixels resolution, the camera is a 3MP fixed-focus unit with no flash and there’s no 3G connectivity, the same specs as the original Star. And there is that S5230W Star Wi-Fi, of course. The phone comes with the latest TouchWiz interface, who is a bit similar to the Bada OS. The device also boasts extensive social networking skills – phonebook features SNS integration and there are Facebook and Twitter apps preinstalled. IM support covers Facebook chat, Yahoo Messenger, Gtalk and AIM. Even  if it doesn’t have an internal memory bigger than 30 MB, Samsung Star II offers support for microSDHC cards of up to 16 GB. The music stored on such a card will be able to be listened to with the help of a regular headset, the special connector port being eliminated. Samsung Star II is going to be available in February in Germany, with other European countries, CIS, South America, India and the Middle East to follow. Available in black and white.
