Samsung Wave II S8530 Runs Bada 1.2 Available in the UK

Samsung Wave II S8530 has finally made it to the UK which is the successor to the original Wave (which was the first smartphone to be powered by Samsung’s own Bada OS). The Wave II runs Bada 1.2, the latest version of the OS, and was supposed to hit the UK in December. The new device can be purchase from Phones4u for free with contracts that start at £20.00 per month. Those who are interested in the purchase of the handset would be able to choose from monthly contracts at Vodafone, Orange and O2. The handset was put on sale via O2 as well. The Wave II has a 3.7-inch Super Clear LCD capacitive touchscreen, a 1 GHz processor, a 5 MP camera with LED flash, HD video recording, HSDPA 3.6 Mbps on the 900/2100 bands, quad-band GSM, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 2 GB of internal memory expandable via a microSD card slot, a 3.5 mm headset jack, and a 1500 mAh battery.
