Sharp FX has just officially announced by AT&T today. This is the first Sharp handset on AT&T and maybe will be a water test device. If it’s succesful, without a doubt, Sharp will launch more models. Sharp FX is pretty much like T-Mobile’s Sidekick. FYI, Sharp is the one who manufactured Sidekick, Microsoft Kin One and Microsoft Kin Two.
Unfortunately, none of those phones make a hit on the US. However, Sharp must be thinking that it worths a shot to launch this device.
Sharp FX gives you a full touchscreen display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 2 Megapixel camera, AT&T’s mobile TV service access, AT&T Navigation, AT&T social networking software, Bluetooth 2.1 and HTML browser.
The Sharp FX price is set at $99.99 (2-year contracts and $50 mail-in rebate). Sharp FX’s release date will be on July 25th.
