Sharp IS01 is the first AU’s phone which is using Android. This is a rather good news for Japanese Android lover, because previously HTC Desire already announced by Softbank. Sharp IS01 is powered by a Snapdragon processor and running on Android 1.6.
Sharp IS01 measures are 83 × 149 × 17.9mm and 227g weight. Equipped with 5-row QWERTY, multi-touch capacitive screen with a 960 x 480 pixel resolution, 5.27 megapixel camera with auto focus (on back) and 0.43 megapixel camera on the front for video call.
On connectivity, Sharp IS01 is using 802.11 b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, microSD slot, 1Seg mobile TV tuner, IrDA, 4GB of internal storage, and Qualcomm 3G CDMA data. Sharp IS01 release date is on October and the developer version (JN-DK01) will be ready on May.
