This make a cut off $100 from the current iPhone models. More importantly, the new iPhone cheap price also undermine the Palm Pre’s. This will be a huge blow for Palm Pre. Even though Palm Pre sold more than 50,000 on this weekend, that cannot beat Apple’s iPhone which sold 146,000 on its first week sale. Anyway, $99 is a very nice amount for a device that has access to the App Store’s with over 50,000 apps.
