
The iPhone 3G S has just announced by Apple with some great updates. Compared to the its predecessor, The iPhone 3G, the new phone has a faster CPU, HSDPA support, larger storage options and a better camera. What makes it better is all for the same price as the current set.
With the 50% jump in CPU speed (up to 600MHZ) and the doubled of system memory into 256MB, the OS will surely run faster. The camera also has some upgrade, even though it’s not as much as the other aspect. At least now iPhone 3G S has auto focus camera on a 3MP camera. iPhone 3G S also support auto lighting and auto focus when shoot video at 30FPS.
iPhone 3G S will available on black and white models with the option of 16GB or 32GB. The options will be available for $199/$299 respectively on July. The battery also got some improvement, Apple said now it will be 15-20% longer than the current one.
Although many upgrade done in the hardware, Apple didn’t forget the software. Some new features is now available. Now you can tether the iPhone via Bluetooth or USB into PC or Mac on 22 carriers.
The iPhone 3G S release date will be on June 19, 2009 in the United States while the rest of the world will getting it on July 9, 2009. But starting today iPhone 3G already gets its $99 price
